Making a Difference!

The Kiwanis Club of Moraga Valley donates money and volunteers time to support local organizations that help children and families. The club's major fundraisers each year are the selling of See's Candy during the holiday season and supporting the Town's July 4th and Pear & Wine Festival events.

Our Mission:

The Kiwanis Club of Moraga Valley is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized exclusively for the club's mission: "We’re a service club dedicated to improving local and regional communities, especially for children and youth, through service projects and funding of humanitarian organizations.

2026-10-29 07:30:00Z	Oct 29, 2026	Club Meeeting -- Geologis Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs)	Oct 29, 2026 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM	Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church	Uri Eliahu, President of ENGEO Geotechnical Consultants, will give a talk titled "Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs), an Introduction and Their Importance to California Communities, Including Moraga and Orinda." ENGEO manages Moraga's Geologic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD). The GHAD is a special district of permanent open space within the town but is managed independently. Moraga's GHAD currently totals about 150 acres and is expected to grow to about 500 acres over the next few years. GHAD's are governed by California law and number 50 across the state.	View
